In June 2019, the Netherlands Heart Institute hosts the 3rd Translational Cardiovascular Research Meeting in Utrecht, the Netherlands.
The first two event were very succesfull meetings, rated very highly by the participants. There is clearly a market in the Netherlands for a translational congress next to other, more clinically oriented congresses.
In 2019, the central theme of the congress is “The future belongs to the young”. The meeting offers many opportunities for young people: Fellowships, poster prizes, the Einthoven Dissertation Prize and of course the opportunity to present their scientific work.
The fist two editions of the Translational Cardiovascular Research Meeting costed €75.000 each. This is too much for the Netherlands Heart Institute alone.
